About

As a proud graduate of the University of Toronto with a major in Computer Science and minor in Statistics, I have always been fascinated by technology and the endless possibilities it offers. My love for computers started when I got my first netbook in elementary school, and from there I developed an interest in software.

Currently working at Capital One, I get to work with cutting-edge technologies such as AWS, Java Spring Boot, and React.js. I have made significant contributions to the company, including the optimization and refactoring of Java Spring Boot micro-services, which resulted in the more efficient creation of hundreds of thousands of credit cards. Additionally, I led the development of a user-friendly self-service portal using Node.js and React.js, streamlining the test account creation process and increasing team efficiency.

Outside of work, I am an avid gamer and enjoy staying active through working out and trying new food. My passion for technology and desire for continuous learning and improvement drive me to excel in the field of software engineering.

Projects

Workout Journal:

Since I enjoy working out, I decided to create a workout journal app with my brother which allows users to easily keep track of their workouts and track their progress. This project helped me to learn how to use React Native, and also taught me a lot about mobile app developement.


Personal Notepad:

I created this notepad app which allows users to save and delete notes, and personalize the color of each note. I completed this project in order to practice using HTML and Javascript.



Recipe Finder:

I created this application with my brother which the uses Edamam Recipe Search API to look up 4 different recipes for specified foods. We created this application in order to practice working with APIs and to help us figure out what to cook with the many different ingredients that are in our house.
